According to details shared by popular entertainment blogger Cutie Juls, the judgment was delivered after the singer allegedly breached his performance agreement. The court, in its ruling, mandated that Kizz Daniel pay $200,000 as damages to the organizers of the event, which was said to have been planned in Germany.

Court Reportedly Freezes Kizz Daniel’s Accounts

Further details from Cutie Juls indicate that Kizz Daniel’s personal and business bank accounts were reportedly frozen as part of the enforcement of the judgment. This legal decision stems from the singer’s alleged failure to refund payment after collecting half of his agreed performance fee.

It was reported that Kizz Daniel had charged $100,000 for the event. The organizers made an upfront payment of $50,000 as commitment, but the singer failed to appear at the event. After the show, the organizers reportedly reached out to him, and he promised to return the funds, but no refund was made.

This prompted the event organizers to file a lawsuit, which has now culminated in the ruling against the singer, including the freezing of his accounts to recover the sum awarded by the court. Screenshots of payment receipts and other documents were shared online to back up the claims.

Past Controversies Linked to Kizz Daniel

This is not the first time Kizz Daniel has faced backlash for failing to honour performance contracts. In August 2022, the singer was embroiled in a major controversy in Tanzania after failing to perform at the much-publicized SUMMER AMPLIFIED Concert, despite receiving full payment.

Videos that circulated online at the time showed the singer being escorted by Tanzanian security operatives into a police truck, sparking outrage among fans and widespread media coverage.

The concert organizers, Big Step Consultancy, had to issue a public apology and vowed to hold the necessary parties accountable. However, Kizz Daniel later clarified that he was not arrested but was only briefly questioned by Tanzanian authorities before being released.

The latest development adds to a growing list of controversies surrounding the singer’s professional dealings, raising concerns about contractual breaches and accountability within the entertainment industry.

As of now, neither Kizz Daniel nor his management has released an official statement addressing the new court ruling or the freezing of his accounts. Fans and critics alike are awaiting his response as the issue continues to generate heated discussions online.
