Popular streamer and skit maker, Shank Comics, recently addressed speculations surrounding an alleged rivalry between him and his fellow content creator, Peller.
Shank made the clarification during an appearance on the Isbae U’s ‘Curiousity Made Me Ask’ podcast, where he responded to questions regarding his relationship with Peller and the comparisons being drawn between them in the streaming community.
Gistreel recalls that a few months prior, Shank had officially begun his streaming career after participating in Kai Cenat’s Streamer University in the United States. This opportunity gave him exposure to professional streaming practices and helped him gain traction in the growing world of content creation.
During the podcast, Isbae U asked Shank about his working relationship with Peller, noting that although Peller is younger in age, he has been involved in the streaming industry longer. The host highlighted that fans and viewers had started comparing Shank and Peller since Shank ventured into streaming, which sparked curiosity about whether any rivalry existed between the two creators.
Shank took the opportunity to clarify that there is no bad blood or competition between him and Peller. He emphasized that any comparisons made by fans or observers do not reflect tension or animosity between the two.
Shank clarifies their relationship
The comedian explained that while comparisons can naturally occur in any field, they do not imply a negative relationship. He stressed that he and Peller share a cordial bond and often interact in friendly and supportive ways. Shank described their relationship as more like that of brothers, highlighting the respect and camaraderie that exists between them despite the differences in their experience levels.
Shank refers to Peller as his senior
Shank further elaborated that while Peller may be younger in age, he is considered a senior colleague in the streaming business due to his experience and tenure. “He is my senior colleague. This has nothing to do with age,” Shank noted, emphasizing that professional hierarchy and respect are based on experience and contributions rather than chronological age.
He reiterated that his bond with Peller is built on mutual respect and camaraderie, and he dismissed any notions of rivalry or competition between them. Shank also clarified that this respect extends to other streamers, and he maintains a supportive and collaborative approach within the streaming community.
