The entertainer made the comment while revealing his travel plans to Ivory Coast, explaining that he was preparing ahead for his trip by getting a translator device to help him communicate with locals who primarily speak French.

Peller, known for his raw and comedic takes, took to his social media page to express surprise at how Nigerians mock his poor English proficiency, yet overlook that some African countries do not even understand the language at all.

In a video posted online, the streamer disclosed his plan to purchase special translator earpods that can automatically convert French to English during conversations, ensuring smooth communication while he’s in Ivory Coast.

He jokingly noted that while Ivorians may not speak English, they are not so different from him, as he too struggles with the language — a comparison that drew laughter and mixed reactions from his followers.

Peller emphasized that people often label him as uneducated for not speaking fluent English, but he pointed out that the inability to communicate in English doesn’t define intelligence or education level.

Using humor to make his point, Peller declared that since most Ivorians don’t understand English, they could be considered “uneducated” just like him, but added that this doesn’t make them any less intelligent or human.

He said in part …

“When I go to Ivory Coast, I have to buy that earpod where be say, if you are talking to me, the earpod will be translating it to English. Because Ivory Coast, all of them, they don’t hear English. Everybody in Ivory Coast, they are like me. Ivory Coast people… In Nigeria, they abuse me, say me I don’t hear English. But everybody living in Africa, they are like me. Everybody will call me uneducated. Imagine everybody from Africa see. Uneducated, we are the same. Africa is the same now…”

The statement has stirred diverse reactions online, with many fans finding humor in his self-awareness, while others criticized him for referring to Ivorians as uneducated based solely on language.
