A young lady has ignited a heated debate on social media after boldly revealing why she deliberately avoids dating fine boys and instead prefers men who are not considered traditionally attractive.
In a viral clip that quickly gained attention on X (formerly Twitter), the lady confidently declared in Pidgin English: “You no fit see me with hundred percent fine boy.” According to her, she has no interest in being romantically involved with a man who is universally admired for his looks.
Explaining further, she said that walking on the streets with a very handsome man would mean constant attention from other women, and she finds such a scenario unacceptable. The lady stressed that she dislikes situations where strangers compliment her man’s looks instead of her own beauty, noting that she believes she should be the one receiving admiration while her partner should focus on appreciating her.
She went on to add that she feels uncomfortable with the idea of “hailing” a man simply because of his looks. Instead, she argued that the natural balance should be that the man admires her beauty, while she values his financial capability. For her, this exchange of respect and admiration is healthier than sharing a partner who is desired by many women due to his physical attractiveness.
Wrapping up her confession, she made it clear that dating fine boys is a big “no” for her. She reaffirmed that she prefers “ugly guys” because, to her, they provide peace of mind and eliminate unnecessary competition from other women who might be chasing her man.
